Maruti Suzuki Records Highest Export Numbers

Maruti Suzuki has registered a total sales of 164,056 units in February 2022 in India. Out of which 137,607 were domestic sales, 2,428 were sales to other OEMs (Glanza and Urban Cruiser for Toyota) and the remaining 24,021 units were the exported ones which is a record number compared to 11,486 units exported in the same month last yearIn a statement, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “The shortage of electronic components had a minor impact on the production of vehicles which are primarily sold in the domestic market. The company took all possible measures to minimize the impact.”Maruti Suzuki expects to increase sales as the supply of electronic components have improved significantly. The company has recently introduced the new Baleno, which has already clocked 25,000 bookings in less than 1 month. The company also plans to launch new Brezza and the updated Ertiga in the next 2 months.
